The Taos Public Library presents mountain guide Dave Hahn, this Saturday, November 10th, in our community room, from 1:30pm to 3:30pm- "A year in pretty pictures and exaggerated stories...a roundup!!!"
Dave Hahn is a professional climbing guide, ski patroller, writer and speaker who calls Taos home. He specializes in guiding people to high, cold, remote environments and works regularily on Mt. Everest (14 summits to date!) Denali (29 expeditions over 27 years) Mt. Vinson (the highest peak in Antartica at just over 16,000 ft.) and Mount Rainier (27 years and over 270 summits). He has been recognized on several occasions for performing rescues under difficult situations.
Dave is part of Eddie Bauer's First Ascent guide team and is a PowerSox sponsored athlete as well as being a contributor to Outside magazine.
