Youth Poetry Slam Coming Up Saturday

The Taos Public Library will present the 4th Annual Youth Poetry Slam Saturday, February 11, 2012. All teens from the area are welcome to register (so long as we have open places remaining) and compete for cash prizes. If you've never attended a poetry slam, you'll be in for a wonderful surprise. This is not your father's poetry but a lively (some might say raucous) couple of hours of performance art that is guaranteed to reaffirm your faith in the power of the spoken word, poetry and Taos' young people.
