Seven Years of Weekends with O'Keeffe 1973-1979
Join us for a special talk and reading with author Carol Merrill. Carol will read from her two books Weekends with O'Keeffe and O'Keeffe: Days in a Life.
Carol was twenty-six when eighty-five O'Keeffe hired her to serve as her librarian, secretary, cook, nurse, companion, and confidante. Carol accompanied O'Keeffe on walks, provided descriptions of nature, read to her from her favorite books, and helped keep her space in meticulous order.
Carol is retired from thirty years of teaching children, and is currently the librarian at Ghost Ranch.
