Taos Library Carpeting Update - We'll Reopen Monday!

There's light at the end of our re-carpeting project.  Although the workmen will still be finishing up in the staff areas next week, we'll re-open Monday morning (January 18th) as usual. I'm happy to report we've used "green" glue and although I'm pretty sensitive, the fumes have not been a problem. I hope you can see in the photos how much newer, cleaner and smoother the new carpeting is. Better yet, come see in person!

Here I am holding a panel of the new carpeting as one of the workmen holds up a patch of dirty, old carpeting just removed from our work area.

Can you see how clean the new carpeting is? The line on the left near the sneaker is a seam, not a ripple!

Here's the old. It's a bit hard to see the stains but you can definitely see how it's coming up and worn.

Fortunately for us, but not for blogging purposes, the worst of the old carpeting has already been removed. But Lisa Libro got this shot that kinda sorta gives you an idea. Those blotches are stains, not marbling!

Don't forget... Monday may be a holiday for you, but not for us. So come see us and the new flooring!
