Tai Chi Master Richard Leirer to Kick-off Summer Lecture Series

Richard Leirer is one of the most experienced and accomplished Qigong teachers in the US. He has been a serious student and practitioner of the internal arts for over 40 years. He is considered by many to be one of the few American Qigong Masters. Richard has an ongoing Tai Chi/Qigong therapy program for pain management and surgery rehabilitation at the world famous Cleveland Clinic hospital. It is the only program like it in the United States.
Richard now lives and teaches in Taos, New Mexico. Leirer will describe the history and
demonstrate the ancient art of Qigong and its effectiveness for pain management.

Join us this Saturday, May 11th from 1:30-3:30 in the community room.

This is free and is sponsored by the friends of Taos Public Library.

Summer Lecture Series: Adventures de Taos

This year's Summer lecture series lineup is proving to be our best yet! This year's theme, Adventures de Taos will showcase all the fun and varied activities there are to do here. Adventures de Taos lists cultural, creative, active, playful, and workshops, as possible Taos adventures to check out.
Many of our presenters have written books or produced dvds, as is the case with our first presenter, Richard Lehrer, master of Qigong and Tai Chi. He will kick off Adventures de Taos on May 11th. Check back here and Facebook for more details closer to the event.
Adventures de Taos Library Lecture series are free and are funded by the Friends of Taos Public Library.

All of us here at Taos Public Library are very excited!
